First Christian Church Children's Ministry has several special outreach events each year. These events are designed to give families an opportunity to invite their friends and neighbors to enjoy having fun together in a Christian environment. Here are a few of the events that take place:

Easter Eggstravaganza
Families gather for a free lunch and enjoy crafts, activities, and the message of Jesus' resurrection, followed by a huge egg hunt!

Hallelujah Festival
Moms and Dads are provided a Christian alternative for their kids to enjoy at the end of October. Tons of games, crafts, and of course candy, as well as family worship time.

Christmas Program
Every child (Preschool-5th grade) is welcome to be a part of a special Christmas program performed on a Sunday morning in December, sharing the message of Christ's birth through drama and music. Practices generally begin in mid-October.

Church Camp
Third, Fourth and Fifth Graders have the opportunity to attend Junior Camp with kids from Nebraska, Wyoming and South Dakota at beautiful Kamp Kinship located in the Black Hills National Forest. See the Calendar Page for dates.

Vacation Bible School
School was never this much fun! Each summer, adult leaders look forward to spending time with kids doing crafts, games, songs, snacks and learning the Bible together.
